The Gold Coast Builders Association Presents Community of the Year Award to Akel Homes

Akel Homes, a private, boutique, semi-custom homebuilder based in South Florida, receives a dozen Prism Awards by the GCBA including The Community of the Year Award for their single-family community, Villamar at Toscana Isles in Lake Worth, Florida.
The Gold Coast Builders Association presents the 2021 Prism Awards to outstanding builders, developers, planners, architects, interior designers, and marketing professionals who have demonstrated excellence within their industry.
On September 23rd, 2021, The Prism Awards presented Akel Homes with the Community of the Year Award, one of the most prestigious awards that presented to a builder, for Villamar at Toscana Isles. This award recognizes the most extinguished community exceeding expectations within New Construction, Marketing and Advertising, as well as Landscaping categories at the 2021 Prism Awards.
A panel of industry experts presented awards to Akel Homes within four specific categories including new construction, architectural design, marketing/advertising, and landscape/engineering. Some of the awards include : New Construction – Single Family Detached Homes under $500,000 and Architectural Design – Single Family 2000 to 3600 SF.
Villamar consists of 208 homes and features an amenity-rich clubhouse built at the beginning stages of the community, which includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style pool, lounge area, multipurpose sports court, and tennis court, uncommon for the size and stage of the community.
