Meeting Play Academy: A First Look at Life at Club Catalina
October 30, 2026 2 Minute Read
Last Saturday brought a full room, a sunny afternoon and a whole lot of new friends. Homebuyers and future residents gathered at the Catalina Palms at Sundance Sales Center to meet Play Academy, Club Catalina’s Lifestyle and Programming Team, and to get a first look at what’s ahead for the community.
“I think the community is wonderful. The Facebook group, the communication. Everybody’s so friendly and nice. It’s an exciting time.”
Meet Play Academy
The afternoon was all about the people who will be planning life at Club Catalina. Inside the Sales Center, the Play Academy team welcomed a packed house and introduced themselves to the future residents they’ll be planning for.
Guests got a preview of the classes, clubs and celebrations planned for before and after Club Catalina opens its doors. They also got a first look at the Catalina Palms Connect App.
For many in the room, it was a chance to put faces to the programming and start picturing their own calendars.
“We’re new to Port St. Lucie and we want to make friends up here. It’s very nice that they’re doing this.”
Paint & Sip, Live Music and Good Company
After the presentation, the celebration moved outside. Under the tent, guests picked up a brush for Paint & Sip, with an instructor leading the way. By the end, the tables were full of Florida sunsets and swaying palms, and every painting was a keeper.
Live music filled the air, food trucks lined the street, and neighbors-to-be traded stories, compared paintings and made plans to meet up again.
“We met a lot of nice people today. Looking forward to meeting more people.”
More conversations. More laughter. More familiar faces before move-in day even arrives.
A Glimpse of the Next Chapter
For many guests, Saturday offered a preview of what everyday life at Catalina Palms will feel like.
“It’s going to be fantastic. With a 57,000 square foot clubhouse and all of the amenities… We’re so excited to become a full-time resident here.”
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the Play Academy team for an afternoon to remember. There’s always something happening at Catalina Palms at Sundance, and this is just the beginning.
