Akel Homes Awarded Six Prism Awards

Akel Homes, a semi-custom homebuilder based in South Florida, walked away big at the Gold Cost Builders Association’s 2020 Prism Awards Ceremony. Akel Homes was acknowledged with one Gold Prism Award and five Silver Prism Awards for their active single-family home community, Villamar at Toscana Isles, located in central Palm Beach County.
The Gold Coast Builders Association presents the 2020 Prism Awards to those outstanding builders, planners, architects, developers, designers, and interior vendors, who are surpassing those within their industry, with the opportunity to gain recognition for their outstanding performance.
Akel Homes, was awarded Gold for one and Silver for five 2020 Prism Awards. Villamar at Toscana Isles, a single-family development, captured awards for the following categories: Website, Direct Mail Piece, Overall Exterior Design, Overall Facilities, Spa & Fitness Center, and Interior Design of Great Room.
Akel Homes was awarded Gold for their website. Their website serves as a multimedia vehicle for promoting their homes on a digital platform as well as navigating the vast availability of resources such as pricing, floorplans, and options. Additionally, the website offers interactive virtual tours, video tours, and interactive floorplans for customers to explore the homes from the comfort of their own home. These resources are immensely effective in displaying their homes and driving in qualified customers that are truly in the market to purchase a new home.
Akel Homes was awarded Silver for their Overall Exterior Design of the Palma Model, Overall Facilities for their Clubhouse, Spa and Fitness Amenities, Interior Design for the Sierra Model, and Direct Mail Piece, all associated with their new single-family community, Villamar at Toscana Isles.
The Palma (Exterior Design)- The Palma exterior consists of their new Moderna elevation, which includes contemporary impact-rated garage doors, gorgeous natural ledger stone and faux-wood tile exterior finishes at the front entry, clean line stucco details, and flat roof tile. The contemporary aesthetic provides the home with a sophisticated and streamlined look that is quite popular, a more modern take on traditional elevations that they’ve previously designed.
The Clubhouse (Overall Facilities and Spa and Fitness Amenities)- The 3,600 square foot Club Villamar boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center with strength training, cardio equipment and a Peloton bike, gathering room, expansive lounge area, multipurpose sports court, tennis court, tot lot, and heated resort-style pool. Club Villamar offers the best of Florida living.
The Sierra (Interior Design)- The Sierra great room opens up to a deep foyer, into an expansive great room and chef inspired kitchen with a large island. It’s the perfect space for families of varying sizes and lifestyles. The expansive room was intentionally created to draw in natural light and create an encompassing feeling when gathering with family members for a family game night or inviting guests over to serve horderves at a dinner party.
