Akel Homes Attends the 3rd Annual Treasure Coast Builders Association Builders Showcase

A Builders Showcase was held by the Treasure Coast Business Association to facilitate networking among area construction professionals. Attendees have the opportunity to network with fellow associates & builder members, as well as promote their own business.
The Treasure Coast Builders Association is a professional association of over 400 member firms representing more than 5,540 individuals. TCBA represents and protects the interests of the building industry in Florida’s Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties. TCBA is dedicated to serving its members by: providing leadership in the building industry, creating a unified front to achieve greater integrity and competency, and promoting a better business industry for the community.
On September 16th, 2022, the Akel Homes team joined TCBA construction professionals at the Mid Florida Civic Center in Port St. Lucie for this annual builder showcase. Purchasing Director, Teresa Tigert and Field Coordinator, Jessica Spies were present from Akel Homes.
Registration opened at 10:00am, kicking off the schedule of events. Opening the event with keynote speaker, Brad Hunter discussing the housing economy forecast. Throughout the entire event, attendees had the opportunity to network with fellow associates and members of the builder community by showcasing their businesses. One lucky attendee was awarded a prize valued at $600 in a jackpot drawing to conclude the event.
Attendees were able to showcase their companies at Akel Homes’ booth, which opened the door to establishing new relationships for the company’s upcoming projects. At the Akel Homes booth, a door prize, promotional items, and company signage were presented. This year’s builders showcase featured 42 booths.
Akel Homes is planning the future development of 2,500 acres of land in the City of Port St Lucie. Port St Lucie is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and is nestled between Orlando and Miami along South Florida’s Treasure Coast. It is deemed as one of the most desirable places to live and retire in the United States.
Seeing that our next project is moving business to the Treasure Coast area excites us. We look forward to working with some of the trades we are establishing relationships with. The team had an excellent time last night networking with the TCBA community.
