Akel Homes Supports Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build 2026 in Palm Beach County

At Akel Homes, building homes is more than a profession, it’s a purpose. That’s why the Akel Homes team is proud to once again participate in and sponsor the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County Women Build 2026, a community event that brings volunteers together to help families achieve the stability that comes with safe, affordable housing.

Held March 12–13, 2026 in West Palm Beach, Women Build invites volunteers from across Palm Beach County to work alongside Habitat partner families to build and repair homes.

Co-chaired this year by Rana Levy and Christy Maasbach, the event combines fundraising and hands-on construction, empowering participants to make a direct impact in the community.

For the Akel Homes team, supporting Women Build is especially meaningful. As a homebuilder, the company understands the vital role stable housing plays in providing security and opportunity for families. Participating alongside Habitat families offers a powerful reminder of how housing can change lives.

Women Build brings together volunteers, businesses, and community leaders who share a common goal, helping families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

By supporting initiatives like Women Build, Akel Homes continues its commitment to strengthening the communities where it builds and helping expand access to safe, stable housing across Palm Beach County.
